Google is a global technology company leading the way in artificial intelligence. Veo3.1 is their most advanced generative video model. It enables entirely new level of creativity for its users – and new use cases as well.

TL;DR

Part of DDB Singapore’s #BikinGebrakanLo Campaign, the see-through billboard is a way to showcase the capabilities of Google’s generative AI models, as well as to excite potential users. Made in collaboration with DDB Singapore and Hagia Labs, the campaign featured AI-generated “see-through illusions” as well as dynamic AI billboards reacting to weather and time of day in Indonesia.

MISSION

DIGITAL WINDOWS TO A REALITY FILLED WITH IMAGINATION.

Google wanted to showcase the capabilities of their generative AI models, and to inspire potential users to try it’s Veo 3 family and Nano Banana in Indonesia.

We wanted to create something that is exciting and never seen before. So we set out to crack a surprising challenge: Would it be possible to bring cityscapes to life on digital surfaces that appear to be windows to a world where only your imagination is the limit.

We worked with a team of AI creatives, photographers, social experts and technical media specialists to find a way to make near-unbelievable AI illusions a reality and to be able to react to the pulse of Indonesia with fantastical executions created week after week.

ON-GOING CREATION ENABLED BY AI

We collaborated with Google’s social partners to form an ever-evolving understanding of what resonates with Indonesians and working with AI creators turned these insights into fantastical executions that show the streets Jakarta, Surabaya and Bandung seeing bubble tea waves, roaming dinosaurs and ufos  – using a proprietary method we built together with Hagia Labs. With the media specialists we created a way to stay relevant with changing content that reflects what’s the latest in Indonesia.

All content was generated using Google’s Veo 3 and Nano Banana AI, then deployed across high-impact locations.

Its hero placement, a 30Ă—20m dynamic digital display, automatically selects AI-generated content based on real-time weather. The team can create and activate new scenarios within 24 hours in response to social trends and news, keeping the campaign fresh and culturally tuned.
