Marketing and Communications agency Superson has appointed Teppo Heikkinen to its new Managing Director, as CEO and Founder Samppa Vilkuna will focus on the agency’s expansion and business development in the future.
Teppo Heikkinen (44) has been appointed to Superson’s Managing Director position. He started on the 1st of April as the agency’s lead for Finnish operations. Heikkinen has previously worked as the Managing Director of Lataamo Group, and for the consulting company Mercuri International in various positions both in Finland and the US.
During his career Heikkinen has sped up growth in various businesses, and envisions Superson’s future to be strong.
“Superson’s unique business model is now more current than ever, and I am extremely motivated for this position. The change in the world of work has been discussed for years, and the COVID-19 pandemic has only revved this up. Creative expertise moves rapidly towards a more free, international and less time and location-bound ways of working.
At the same time the clients’ needs are going through change, and for example themes related to digitality and sustainability are emphasized. We will further develop our expertise in these fields. For our clients the growth and expansion will be visible as even more comprehensive services in marketing and communications”, Heikkinen says. Along with Heikkinen joining the company, CEO and Founder Samppa Vilkuna gets to focus on the agency’s expansion and development of the business model. Vilkuna states that the success of last year in the Singaporean market strengthens the faith in the agency’s work even further:
“Our young Singapore office doubled its revenue despite the pandemic. We are now in healthy seven figure numbers and there's no sign of us slowing down. We’ve gotten a true proof-of-concept for our business model in the most competitive market in the world. We can start casting our eyes on new markets."
