Neste, a global oil refinery, had sponsored WRC races for 20 years. Our task was to create a campaign that celebrates the sponsorship and attracts new fans for the sport.
Finland is a rally nation. However, the image of the sport has steadily declined during the recent years, especially among the young urbanites. Another challenge was to draw audience from big cities to remote forest tracks.
We brought rally away from the woods by executing a world-class rally event right in the smack middle of Helsinki downtown, where the legendary local drivers raced against the current WRC racing teams.
Superson was responsible of the concept, sponsorship deals, PR, advertising, event production, digital solutions and social media marketing.
Neste is a global oil refinery originally from Finland. It produces and markets oil products and provides engineering services with operations in 14 countries.
