About the client

Senoko Energy is an electric utility company and retailer accounting for 20% of  Singapore's electricity supply. Evolved to offer a balanced portfolio of natural gas, advanced energy solutions, and electricity supply, among others, Senoko Energy aims to be Singapore's leading provider of innovative sustainable energy solutions. 

About the project

Superson was tasked with creating a set of launch marketing materials for Senoko Energy's SolarShare platform. Developing materials to launch a digital platform aimed at a B2B, prosumer audience was supported by a vision of a future of green energy and a goal to help a nation achieve its Net Zero targets.

This was a project with many layers of content to communicate. True to our Specialist Model™, we cast a Singapore-based creative team who, with their cumulative experience, spanned continents in both B2C and B2B categories. More specifically, the specialists were experienced in creating and writing for sustainability-driven projects, understanding their challenges and opportunities.

TASK

CREATING LAUNCH MATERIALS FOR A UNIQUE PLATFORM

 

As the platform is the first of its kind in Singapore for green energy trading, we faced the challenge of pioneering into the future. Our mission was to visualize the potential sustainability outcomes if more people participated in solar energy sharing. Addressing both the practical and vision-selling aspects of the task demanded a team that understood the hearts and minds of B2B customers in Singapore. 

SOLUTION

SPARKING INTEREST IN THE NOW FOR THE FUTURE

 

Close collaboration with the client as one team proved crucial to the success of this case. Senoko Energy brought vision, category and product knowledge, in addition to understanding the concerns and barriers their customers face when presented with an innovative solution in green energy. 
 
Together with our Specialists we were able to articulate what Senoko Energy wanted to communicate in a personal, practical yet aspirational way, to spark interest in the now for a collective vision for the future.  
 
We drew creative inspiration from movies, radio and the F&B industry to create a manifesto film used for SolarShare's launch event and a fresh design approach for their key marketing assets including launch posters and EDMs.
